Calcined petroleum coke particle is used for recarburizers and friction material

The screened calcined petroleum coke originates from the sponge coke of Sinopec Group (the pellet petroleum coke of fuel grade is forbidden to use). The whole screening process strictly controls the feeding quantity and vibration amplitude, so that the screened particles are relatively uniform in size and stable in quality. Meanwhile, a dust collection system is designed around the vibration screen, to ensure the occupational health of the werkers while avoiding the dust staying in the product. The screening condition of the particles is checked by the workers every 2 hours.

The usual sizes of calcined petroleum coke particles are 1-5mm, 3-8mm and 8-20mm, and the sizes can also be adjusted according to the specific requirements of customers. The particles are used as recarburizers and friction materials respectively, according to their different sulphur content ratios. Specific indexes and applications please visit www.jhcarbon.com.

In addition, the calcined asphalt petroleum coke and the carbon  anode butts can also be crushed and screened to form the same particles as recarburizers, which can be reasonably matched with the above low-sulfur calcined petroleum coke particles in use. This approach achieves mutual compensation in performance while reducing the use cost.
